Los sicarios llegaron hasta el municipio con claras órdenes de cumplir la sentencia de muerte dictada por el “secretariado de capos” de las Farc-Ep. Solamente se detuvieron en la plaza para fumar marihuana y luego se dirigieron a la sede del Concejo Municipal, entraron y en total estado de indefensión, asesinaron de manera cobarde a los cuatro funcionarios del cabildo.
