MATONA DRUG TRAFFICKERS FARC-EP KILLED CECILIA CUBAS DAUGHTER OF AN EX PRESIDENT PARAGUAY

Asunción, Paraguay. February 18, 2005.

It would not be the first time that the FARC-EP, with extensive experience in criminal Colombia, has encouraged this practice in other countries. Colombian thugs have served as mentors to a group of Paraguayan leftists who financed their operations with money from ransom. The link with FARC surfaced in the shocking abduction and murder of CECILIA CUBAS, daughter of former Paraguayan president.

Several of the Paraguayan trained by the FARC-EP, which participated in the kidnapping in 2004, appeared in Argentina after he killed his hostage, where they hoped to find refuge from the persecution of which were in their own country. Last year, however, an Argentine court ordered his extradition to face charges of kidnapping and murder in Asuncion.

DRUG TRAFFICKERS FROM THE FARC-EP KILL FARMERS IN CHOCÓ, COLOMBIA.
