MATONES NARCOTRAFICANTES DE LAS FARC-EP DAN MUERTE A CECILIA CUBAS HIJA DE UN EX PRESIDENTE PARAGUAYO

No sería la primera vez que las FARC-EP, con mucha experiencia criminal en Colombia, hayan fomentado esta práctica en otros países. Matones colombianos han servido como mentores a un grupo de paraguayos izquierdistas que financiaron sus operaciones con dinero proveniente de los rescates. El vínculo con las FARC salió a la superficie en el espeluznante secuestro y asesinato de CECILIA CUBAS, hija de un ex presidente paraguayo.

Varios de los paraguayos entrenados por las FARC-EP, que participaron en ese secuestro en el año 2004, aparecieron en Argentina después que asesinaron a su rehén, donde esperaban encontrar refugio de la persecución de la que eran objeto en su propio país. El año pasado, sin embargo, un tribunal argentino ordeno su extradición para enfrentar los cargos de secuestro y asesinato en Asunción.

It would not be the first time that the FARC-EP, with extensive experience in criminal Colombia, has encouraged this practice in other countries. Colombian thugs have served as mentors to a group of Paraguayan leftists who financed their operations with money from ransom. The link with FARC surfaced in the shocking abduction and murder of CECILIA CUBAS, daughter of former Paraguayan president.

Several of the Paraguayan trained by the FARC-EP, which participated in the kidnapping in 2004, appeared in Argentina after he killed his hostage, where they hoped to find refuge from the persecution of which were in their own country. Last year, however, an Argentine court ordered his extradition to face charges of kidnapping and murder in Asuncion.
