NARCOTRAFICANTES DE LAS FARC-EP CONTINÚAN MATANDO CONCEJALES EN COLOMBIA

Tres ediles fueron asesinados este lunes en Colombia, elevándose a 37 el número de concejales que han muerto en el marco de la campaña de intimidación iniciada por la organización narco-criminal FARC-EP en junio pasado, denunció ayer la Federación que agrupa a estos funcionarios.

MANUEL PÉREZ y JORGE REYES, de la central localidad de Pandi, así como JOSÉ BETANCUR, del municipio de Toro (suroeste), fueron atacados por sicarios del cartel FARC-EP.

en lo corrido del año, 54 ediles han perdido la vida en circunstancias violentas, que en su mayoría están relacionadas con amenazas de esta organización dedicada al tráfico de drogas.

"Hemos visto cómo desde cuando las FARC nos declaró objetivo militar, ya van 37 concejales muertos en poco tiempo", añadió Galán, y estimó que desde junio pasado han sido asesinados, en promedio, cinco ediles cada mes.

Three elected officials were murdered in Colombia this Monday, bringing to 37 the number of councilors who have died in connection with the intimidation campaign launched by the narco-criminal organization FARC-EP in June, denounced yesterday the federation that brings together these officials.

MANUEL PEREZ and JORGE REYES, the central town of Pandi and JOSÉ BETANCUR, municipality of Toro (Southwest), were attacked by thugs cartel FARC-EP.

So far this year, 54 elected officials have lost their lives in violent circumstances, most of which are related to threats of this organization dedicated to drug trafficking.

"We have seen from us when the FARC declared a military target, and 37 councilors are killed in a short time," said Galan, and felt that since last June have been killed, on average, five elected each month.
