NARCO CRIMINALES DEL CARTEL FARC-EP ASESINA INDÍGENAS EN ARAUCA COLOMBIA

Colombia, Marzo 9 de 2006

La Oficina en Colombia del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos condena el asesinato a sangre fría de JUAN RAMÍREZ VILLAMIZAR, ex gobernador indígena del resguardo Makaguán de Caño Claro (Arauca) y de su esposa, LUZ MIRIAM FARÍAS, maestra de la escuela del mismo resguardo, en hechos ocurridos entre el cinco y el seis de marzo de 2006 a manos del cartel terroristas Farc-RP.

Estos dos nuevos crímenes de guerra ponen de manifiesto los niveles de crueldad y desprecio por la vida humana a que han llegado los integrantes de las FARC-EP.

La Oficina hace notar que, por su número y por su frecuencia, los asesinatos cometidos por miembros de las FARC-EP constituyen un crimen de lesa humanidad sobre el cual podrá ejercer su jurisdicción complementaria la Corte Penal Internacional.

The Office in Colombia of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights condemned the cold-blooded murder of JUAN RAMÍREZ VILLAMIZAR, a former governor of the indigenous guard Makaguan Caño Claro (Arauca) and his wife, LUZ MIRIAM FARÍAS, the teacher school of the same shelter in events between five and six in March 2006 at the hands of the FARC terrorist cartel-RP.

These two new war crimes reveal the levels of cruelty and disregard for human life have come to the members of the FARC-EP.

The Office notes that, by their number and their frequency, the killings committed by members of the FARC-EP are a crime against humanity on which it may exercise jurisdiction up the International Criminal Court.
